Dan assumed the role of Fleet Director in April 2020, prior to this Dan was responsible for Kwik Fit Fleet’s Service Maintenance and Repair offering to the Fleet market. Dan has been with Kwik Fit for 18 years, joining the business as an apprentice technician.
Kwik Fit has focussed its attention in recent years to developing a fit-for-purpose training programme and network of technicians enabled to cater for the demand within aftermarket for EV maintenance. By adopting the IMI accredited scheme within its own training programme, Kwik Fit has significantly up skilled its technicians in terms of EV awareness and capability.
Dan’s role within the senior leadership team at Kwik Fit means he is well placed guide company strategy regarding EVs, from engagement with suppliers for both tyres and aftermarket parts and future investments across the Kwik Fit network.
With the Government bringing forward the ban on sales of new petrol/diesel cars and vans to 2030, and hybrids in 2035, the need for companies to start introducing electric vehicles onto their fleets has become even more urgent.
